Wonder Woman #1 (Summer No.1) — Rose Besch Original Sketch Blank Variant w/ COA

Description

Near Mint ungraded comic with an original, hand-drawn Wonder Woman sketch by Rose Besch on a blank variant cover of the Wonder Woman No. 1 Summer Issue. The drawing is executed in ink/marker on high-quality uncoated sketch cover stock and features Rose Besch’s signature and a playful, “cute” stylistic take on Diana Prince. Condition & grading: Book is in excellent — likely Near Mint/Mint — condition and is currently ungraded. The cover is clean, flat and shows no visible creases or discoloration in the photos; this copy is ready for professional grading (CGC Signature Series compatibility expected because the artist has signed the cover). Notable features: One-of-a-kind original cover art (not a print or sticker); drawn directly onto the blank variant cover, making this a unique piece. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) verifying the artwork and signature. The piece bears Rose Besch’s recognizable line work and a bold, stylized composition with decorative star motifs and the artist’s personal sig/mark near the bottom. Artist, edition & medium: Original artwork by Rose Besch — a highly sought-after contemporary cover artist known for bold, stylish designs. Medium appears to be black ink/marker on yellow sketch variant cover stock. This is a non-foil, non-printed variant turned into original art; not a mass-produced variant. Collectible value & appeal: This item is primarily collectible original art rather than a play copy — it will appeal to collectors of Rose Besch artwork, Wonder Woman fans, and investors in original comic covers. Original, signed pieces by top-tier cover artists typically command premium prices compared with standard variant covers; the included COA increases confidence for serious buyers and graders. The unique nature of the sketch makes it a one-of-a-kind display piece and a strong candidate for grading and long-term collectibility. Additional observations: The art’s compact, cute interpretation of Wonder Woman reads well on the bright yellow cover background and photographs cleanly inside a protective sleeve. No foil, no printed rarity indicators; value derives from the original hand-drawn artwork, signature, and COA.
