Mega Gengar ex — 230/193 (M2a) Japanese Ultra Rare Foil — Illus. Taiga Kasai — Pokémon TCG

Raw / ungraded Japanese Mega Gengar ex (230/193 MA) from the M2a set, illustrated by Taiga Kasai. This is the foil Ultra Rare promo-style card with high 350 HP and the Void Gale attack (230). Card shows the set mark and numbering at the bottom (M2a 230/193 MA) and the original Japanese text throughout.

Condition and grading

• Sold raw and ungraded. Visible, honest wear shown in photos: light-to-moderate edge whitening (especially on the gold border), minor corner wear, and very light surface scuffs consistent with ungraded play/sleeve handling. The holo/foil finish remains visible across the face of the card but may show small surface marks under close inspection. Back shows slight whitening around the top border. Exact surface/edge condition is shown in the provided images; please review them closely.

Notable features

• Ultra Rare foil Mega Evolution card with dramatic full-art composition and bold "VOID GALE" artwork treatment across the face. Numbering 230/193 indicates its M2a set variant and collectible rarity. Includes the illustrator credit (Taiga Kasai) on the lower left.

Artist, set and foil status

• Artist: Taiga Kasai. Set: M2a (code printed as MA). Language: Japanese. Foil: yes — foil finish on the front (Ultra Rare). The card retains the official set symbol and numbering.

Playability and collectible value

• This is both a visually striking collector piece and a usable EX card in formats that permit EX/Mega cards. Collectors prize this release for its artwork, high HP and limited-print set numbering; the M2a/230/193 designation and the Taiga Kasai illustration add to desirability. Because the card is raw and ungraded, value will depend on collector preference and condition tolerance.

Other observations

• Card edges and surface show normal handling wear for an ungraded piece; no major creases or delaminations are apparent in the photos, but buyers seeking perfect/mint-grade examples should consider professional grading. Japanese text and set identifiers are intact and readable.
