Buyer’s Premium

1. INTRODUCTION

To continue delivering a high-quality, trusted, and scalable collectibles marketplace, Collektr applies a Buyer’s Premium on selected transactions.

This fee enables us to:

• Maintain a secure and reliable transaction environment
• Invest in platform improvements, buyer protection, and dispute handling
• Support seller quality, curation, and ecosystem growth
• Deliver a seamless checkout, logistics, and customer support experience

The Buyer’s Premium is transparently displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The Buyer’s Premium currently applies to:

• Auction purchases
• Marketplace purchases

At this stage, Livestream transactions are excluded. Collektr may expand this feature to additional categories in future updates.

3. BUYER’S PREMIUM RATE

The standard Buyer’s Premium is:

• 10% of the total cart item subtotal

Key clarifications:

• The fee applies only to item value
• It does not apply to shipping fees, taxes, duties, or other charges
• The exact amount is automatically calculated and clearly shown at checkout

4. MINIMUM BUYER’S PREMIUM

To support operational costs on lower-value transactions, a minimum fee applies:

• Minimum Buyer’s Premium: SGD 1.00

This means:

• If 10% of the purchase value is below SGD 1.00, the fee will default to SGD 1.00
• Example:
• Item price: SGD 8.00
• 10% = SGD 0.80 → Buyer pays SGD 1.00 (minimum applies)

5. CHECKOUT TRANSPARENCY

Collektr is committed to full pricing transparency.

Before confirming payment, buyers will see a complete breakdown including:

• Item price
• Buyer’s Premium
• Shipping fees
• Taxes or duties (if applicable)
• Total payable amount

No hidden fees will be introduced after checkout confirmation.

6. REFUNDS AND ORDER ADJUSTMENTS

In cases of cancellations, refunds, or order adjustments:

• The Buyer’s Premium will be reviewed and processed in accordance with the final order outcome
• Adjustments will align with Collektr’s refund and dispute policies

7. POLICY UPDATES

Collektr reserves the right to update:

• Buyer’s Premium rates
• Minimum fee thresholds
• Applicable categories and scope
