Collections ("Stash") Feature Policy

1. Feature Availability

Collections are accessible from the Account area only when enabled via remote configuration, and certain sub-features (e.g., price tracking) may additionally depend on the user’s iOS version. Collektr may enable, disable, gate, or modify availability of Collections or any sub-feature at any time, for any user segment, without prior notice or liability. Access to the feature at any point in time is not guaranteed to continue.

2. Nature of Collections Data

Collections is an organizational and record-keeping tool only. Adding a card or item to a collection list:

Does not constitute or imply proof of ownership, authentication, grading, or condition verification;\
Does not create any legal or custodial claim recognized by Collektr beyond the user’s own record; and\
Reflects only what the user has entered or imported. Collektr does not independently verify the accuracy of user-added items.

Users are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their own collection data.

3. Card Recognition (Scanner)

The scanner supports recognition for SWU, MTG, PSA slabs, and Pokémon. Recognition results are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or error-free. Recognition may incorrectly identify a card’s set, edition, language, finish, certification, grading details, or other attributes. Users must verify scanned results, including set, card number, and any auto-created collection entries, before relying on them. Collektr is not liable for losses arising from misidentified or mis-recognized items.

4. Metadata and Third-Party Data

Card metadata (set, language, foil status, certification data, etc.) may be sourced in part from third-party providers (e.g., PSA). Collektr does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of third-party-sourced data and is not responsible for errors originating from those sources.

5. Price Tracking (Pokémon TCG)

Where enabled by remote configuration and supported on the user’s iOS version, Collections may display daily market value estimates and value history for Pokémon TCG items. These figures are:

Estimates only, derived from third-party market data, and not a guarantee of actual resale, purchase, or insurance value;\
Subject to gaps, delays, or discontinuation without notice; and\
Not to be relied upon for financial, insurance, or transactional decisions.

6. Bulk Actions and Deletion

Users may select, move, delete, or add/remove multiple cards to a pick list in bulk. Deleted data may be permanently removed and may not be recoverable, whether deleted individually or in bulk, except where cached or backed-up data is available at Collektr’s discretion. Users are responsible for confirming bulk actions before execution.

7. Export

Users may export a collection list as a text file for personal use. Collektr does not guarantee compatibility of exported files with third-party tools, nor the continued availability of the export feature or its format.

Collection items may be surfaced through device Spotlight search, deep links, and a Primary Collection widget for convenience. These are best-effort discovery features; Collektr does not guarantee their uptime, indexing accuracy, or timeliness, and may modify or discontinue them at any time.

9. Caching and Offline Access

Collections data may be cached locally for faster or offline initial loading. Cached data may not reflect the most recent changes made on another device or session. Users should not rely on cached data as authoritative in place of a live, synced view.

10. Intellectual Property / User Content

Users retain ownership of any content they submit to Collections. By uploading or creating collection data, users grant Collektr a non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display such content solely for providing the Collections feature and related services. Users represent that they have the necessary rights to upload such content.

11. No Insurance / Appraisal

Collections, including any values displayed, are not appraisals, insurance valuations, tax valuations, or professional opinions.

12. Fraud Clause

Collections may not be used to create misleading records, facilitate fraudulent transactions, misrepresent ownership or authenticity, or otherwise violate applicable laws or Collektr’s Terms of Service.

13. No Marketplace Status

Unless explicitly stated elsewhere within the Collektr platform, adding an item to Collections does not list the item for sale, reserve it for sale, create a marketplace listing, transfer ownership, create a digital ownership record, or place the item into custody or vaulting services.

14. Privacy

Collection data is handled in accordance with Collektr’s Privacy Policy. Unless explicitly shared by the user or required for operation of the service, collection contents are not publicly visible.

15. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for: the accuracy of self-entered or scanned data; confirming irreversible actions (deletion, bulk moves) before executing them; and understanding that value estimates, recognition results, and third-party metadata are informational only, not guarantees.

16. Changes, Downtime, and Discontinuation

Collektr does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of Collections or any sub-feature, and may modify, restrict, or discontinue the feature (in whole or in part, for any user segment) at its sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, material discontinuations will be communicated in advance; gating or configuration changes may take effect immediately without notice.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Collektr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of collection data, reliance on inaccurate scan results, or reliance on price estimates, arising from use of the Collections feature.

18. Amendments and Acknowledgment

Collektr may amend this policy at any time; material changes will be communicated through reasonable means (in-app notice, email, or announcement). Continued use of Collections after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
