Collektr Data Deletion Policy

At Collektr, we are committed to protecting your personal information and providing transparency regarding how your data is used, stored, and—when requested—deleted. This Data Deletion Policy outlines your rights and the process for data removal from our platform.

1. Your Right to Data Deletion

As a user of Collektr, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data under applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, PDPA, etc.). Upon a valid request, we will remove or anonymize your data from our systems, subject to certain exceptions required by law or business obligations.

2. What Data Can Be Deleted

Upon request, we can delete the following information from your account:

• Name, email address, phone number, and profile details
• Billing/shipping addresses
• Payment method information (handled securely by third-party processors)
• Order history (if not bound by legal retention requirements)
• Chat messages and transaction communications
• Uploaded product listings (for sellers)
• Saved preferences and settings

3. What Cannot Be Deleted Immediately

In some cases, we are required to retain certain data for a specified period due to:

• Legal or regulatory obligations
• Fraud prevention and platform abuse investigation
• Financial or tax reporting (e.g., past transaction and payout data)
• Dispute resolution

Such data will be retained securely and access-limited, then deleted after the required retention period.

4. Requesting Data Deletion

To request data deletion:

2. Include your full name, registered email address, and a short statement confirming your request.

We will verify your identity and process your request within 14 working days, unless otherwise stated by local regulations.

5. Impact of Deletion

• Once your request is processed, your Collektr account will be permanently deactivated.
• You will no longer be able to access your order history, listings, wallet balance, or payout records.
• All ongoing disputes or pending payouts must be resolved before the deletion is finalized.

6. Revoking Your Request

If you change your mind after submitting a deletion request, please email us within 48 hours of submission. After that period, we may no longer be able to recover your account or data.
