1. Manipulative Bidding Practices

1.1 Troll Bidding

Troll bidding—placing disruptive or non-genuine bids to interfere with auctions or livestream sales—is strictly prohibited. This includes:

• Placing unrealistically high bids to block legitimate buyers.
• Coordinating with others to manipulate auction outcomes.
• Requesting refunds more than three (3) times on auction wins or livestream purchases.

To prevent abuse, Collektr pre-authorizes payments for bids and actively monitors refund patterns. Accounts violating this policy may face:

• Immediate restrictions on bidding privileges.
• Suspension or permanent ban from auctions and livestream purchases.
• Loss of refund eligibility for future transactions.

1.2 Shill Bidding

Shill bidding—manipulating auction prices through fake or coordinated bids—is a serious violation. This includes:

• Sellers bidding on their own items, directly or through proxy accounts.
• Family members, employees, or associates placing fake bids to inflate prices.
• Coordinated bidding from multiple accounts to mislead buyers.

Collektr actively monitors transactions and bidding behavior using fraud detection systems. Violators may face:

• Permanent bans from selling and bidding.
• Legal action for fraudulent activity.

1.3 Market Integrity & Anti-Manipulation Measures

Collektr enforces strict policies to ensure a fair and competitive marketplace:

• Pre-authorized payments for all bids to confirm buyer intent.
• Advanced fraud detection to flag suspicious bidding behavior.

1.3.1 Investigating Market Manipulation Claims

2. Referral Program Abuse

2.1 Fraudulent Referral Activity

Participants in Collektr’s referral program must use the system ethically. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Referring fake or inactive users solely to gain rewards.
• Selling, trading, or transferring referral bonuses in unauthorized ways.

3. Abuse of Collektr Features & Tools

3.1 Misuse of Platform Tools

Users must not exploit Collektr’s tools and features for deceptive, unfair, or harmful purposes. Prohibited actions include:

• Abusing customer support processes to gain unfair advantages (e.g., repeated false refund requests).
• Misusing shipping features to manipulate pricing, avoid fees, or engage in fraudulent transactions.
• Paying for or manipulating reviews, ratings, or discovery rankings to artificially boost visibility.
• Intentionally mistagging content to mislead users or bypass content restrictions.
• Excessively rescheduling livestreams or product drops to manipulate engagement.
• Using platform features in unintended ways to deceive buyers, sellers, or the Collektr community.

Collektr reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently remove users engaging in feature abuse.

4. Enforcement & Consequences

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Content takedowns (e.g., removal of listings, bids, or reviews).
• Temporary or permanent restrictions on features such as bidding, selling, or streaming.
• Account suspensions or permanent bans based on severity.
• Legal action in cases of fraud, shill bidding, or financial misconduct.
